Alters are used to hide your identity by posing as your alter. They are NOT an excuse to break the rules. Please don't abuse them.
1. Alters don't have money. There are a few normal users that don't have money either, but alters can't gain money.
2. Alters don't have awesomeness. If you are using an Alter, don't expect to give the alter awesomeness.
3. Alters have off-site links. This helps in playing as a different character.
4. Alters have personal text.
5. Alters display their gender.
6. Alters give away their location.
7. Alters show their join date
8. Alters give out their birthday.
9. Instead of "Member is online/offline," alters have "Alter is online/offline."
10. Alters aren't displayed on mobile devices.
How to tell an alter from a normal user
